DAVID CONYERS

I have had fiction published in Emerald Eye: The Best of Irish Imaginative Fiction, The World SF Blog, First Contact, FTL, Woman’s Way and elsewhere. More stories are coming up in Jupiter Magazine and Transtories and I’m currently looking for a publisher for my novel Down and Out with Joey.

I have been co-editor of Albedo One since 1993 and co-administrator of its International Aeon Award for Short Fiction since 2005. Previous to that I edited several issues of FTL (1990 – 1992). I’ve also edited Writing4all: The Best of 2009 and Box of Delights, a new original horror anthology, due out soon from Aeon Press Books. As a freelance editor, I have worked on both novels and short stories with recent work done for Nuala Lyons, Taylor Grant and others.

I’m currently teaching creative writing to Transition Year students in Gonzaga College and deliver courses to adult students at Big Smoke Writing Factory.
